24/2/2008:  Writtle Minors  2 - 1  Chelmsford City Whites

                                              
Chelmsford were missing 3 key players for there short trip to Writtle but it was City that took lead after just 3 minutes thanks to Christian Simionis brilliant looping header from a pinpiont Micheal Ioannou corner ! Writtle threatened on the counter attack but were kept out superbly by some great defending by Amar Alic. Chelmsford were looking for number 2 with Micheal Ioannou twice shooting just wide before the break .  

2nd half and City were dealt a big blow at halftime when Amar Alic was forced off through injury, both sides were trying there best but it was Writtle who got a goal to level the scores from a corner which deflected off a city player and in to the net on 25(mins), just 2 minutes later and Writtle scored again (27mins).Chelmsford tried hard for the equaliser but it ended in what was just City's second defeat of the season !
